Broker's Comments
37 Gulfstar 1976
We are very pleased to Present Jewel III for your consideration. Her previous owner did a painstaking renovation and tore everything down to the bare hull. He rebuilt her for comfort , spaciousness, and for cruising. Most cabin soles are marine plywood the covered with a thin layer of plywood and then a thin teak and holly veneer. Jewell's sole is a heavy marine grade plywood with hand laid 1/4" Jatoba and oak strips hand finished with Marine Varnish. Jatoba is also known as Brazilian Cherry which is a hard dense wood whose dark color compliments the lighter sturdy oak.
The Salon feature excellent storage space and two long settees that convert to double berths for guests. Forward of the port settee is a custom that houses the air conditioner. Aft of the starboard settee is the nav station. There is a custom double drop leaf table on centerline for dining etc.
Forward and to port is a short passage. The door opens to a restored head on the starboard side. A door forward opens into the owner's state room. There is a custom built hanging locker and additional storage built in to both sides of the cabin berth. There is also plenty of underbed storage.
The galley is well appointed with custom designed cabinetry and a full sink and features plenty of counter space for your culinary skill set!
There is plenty of room in the cock pit for comfortable cruising and there is an outdoor speaker system for the enjoyment of your favorite music
The current owner was called back to work so his retirement in Paradise was cut short and he is ready to sell her. She comes complete with all coast gurad equipment, Gerry cans for water and fuel, full cookware, etc. In other words , she is ready to return to the sea!
