February 2021 Traffic Report Message from Tom Whittington

Spring is coming.
While we have enjoyed our “cold” Florida weather, a large part of the country is still dealing with snow advisories. As they thaw out, business will get back to normal.
February was the first month in many years where MPYS did not register a sold boat.
Not sure if it was weather related or we were just due for an off month.
There were still many highlights in February even though it was a short month.
MPYS’s newest broker, Stuart Cantin, recorded his first sale and is following that up with new listings and more boats under contract.
Great job, Stuart!
We have a new intern working with us from Clark Advanced Learning Center. Antonio is assisting us with more marketing of our listings. Welcome aboard, Antonio!
Our inventory is getting even stronger with the addition of ten new listings. With our new presence on YATCO’s MLS sites, our listings are in front of many more prospects.
This includes our 76′ Lazzara for sale here in Stuart. MPYS helped the current owner purchase her a few years ago but the pandemic has lead him to put her up for sale.
Tell your friends. As always, we offer referrals!
As Vice President of the Marine Industries Association of the Treasure Coast, I am pleased to report our focus on Job Skills Development for the marine industry. We are in the process of collecting pertinent information from employers on their staffing and training needs. We will work with resources to help answer the call for skilled labor on the Treasure Coast. We welcome your input.
We are introducing our newest Dock Board to display our listed boats. The picture above is from Sailfish Marina of Stuart and it makes the third local site advertising our boats. This also has a place to post pictures of you at the sand bar or fishing on your dreamboat. Send them to us!
Thank you for your continued trust of our team.
Please let us know if you have any questions or want to talk about boats!
