We are pleased to present this well kept 40' Silverton Aft Cabin for your consideration.
She has a great layout with two staterooms, 2 heads, each with shower, a large salon, galley and separate dining area. The cock pit is covered and makes a great area for entertaining. The helm is a couple of steps up from the back deck and has a sofa for spectators. This is a great live aboard. She is powered by twin 350 Crusaders delivering 700 horsepower to get you moving. The engines were recently compression checked and serviced. The engine exhaust riser, elbows and gaskets were recently replaced on the Starboard engine. Also , both manifolds were replaced and the heat exchanger was cleaned.

1985 Silverton Aft Cabin 40'
This is a great live aboard boat!
She has a covered cockpit that is large and very suitable for entertaining or dining out! The hard top cover keeps the area shaded and out of the weather if the drops start falling. A couple of steps up is the helm area with additional seating for guests. The helm has excellent visibility and is canvas enclosed.
Downstairs is a spacious salon with access to the engine room by removeable panels. Access and room to work is good! There is a pull out couch and a bar area with its own sink. A few steps down going aft and you are in a very spacious master suite with a queen size bed which you walk around to access the night tables and storage cabinets. There is a large hanging closet as well! The head has a stall shower apart from the sink and potty so the bathroom stays dry.
Back upstairs and across the salon and down a few more stairs puts you right of th galley which is open to the upper salon. There is a 7.4 cubic foot refrigerator/freezer a stainless steel sink, oven and cook top. The galley has a ton of storage. There is a U shapes dining area off the Galley that seats 8 and also converts to a sleeping berth for two. It's light and airy and a very pleasant place to dine. Further forward is a V-berth cabin and a second head which also has its own shower area, keeping the toilet/ sink area dry. There is a door from the V- berth to the head .and another door from the outer area to the head. The V-Berth has a large hanging closet as well as an abundance of drawer space!
The Bow of the boat is large and is a suitable sundeck. There is a windlass on the bow pulpit for anchoring at your favorite spot!
This is a great boat for entertaining or for living aboard. Let it be your winter escape from the North and enjoy all the benefits of a moveable home on the water.
