1989 Nauset 36 Downeast Cruiser
We are very pleased to present this extremely clean Nauset Trawler for your consideration. This boat is basically a "new" old boat having been completely redone and she is in great shape. There is a virtually new Yanmar engine with only 378 hours on her and she runs great. The interior of the boat has been completely redone and retains her simplistic charm. This is a fabulous loop boat and you can customize her to your liking.

1989 Nauset 36 Downeast Cruiser
I was extremely impressed when I was asked to look at this 1989 Nauset Downeast Crusier. Nauset is a well known and respected boat builder in New England and normally builds in the traditional Downeast style. When they built the 36, they designed one with a fly bridge and she is a stunner! This boat has been completely refurbished and is on her way from Florida back up to Rhode Island this summer with an extended stopover in Maryland. The boat is surprisingly simple in her design both outside and inside which gives her a very clean, uncluttered look! She has a full galley so you you can release your culinary talents and amaze your friends! She has a spacious head area with a separate shower. There is a true V berth in the bow area with lots of storage in the dressers and underneath the bunks! Back upstairs there is a setee and a dining room table that converts to a queen size sleeping area. This is a great area for socializing, gaming, working and, of course, dining! There is a fabulous red leather Captain's chair at the downstairs helm. The cockpit is very clean and unclutterd and there is a floor receptacle should you wish to add a table or a fighting chair. Head up the ladder to the flybridge and you will find a fully equipped helm and comfortable seating. A bimini keeps you out of the sun and provides some protection from the elements. There is a large dock box for storage as well! The engine is accessed through the floor in the salon as it has a number of removeable panels that provide excellent access to everything below.
The bottom was recently redone. There is a new rudder post. The cabling is all new. Tanks were replaced a couple of years ago. As I stated earlier, this is a "new" old boat! Call me to request a private tour. She is on her way back up to Rhode Island this summer but viewings can be arranged enroute. She will be berthed in Maryland for an extended stay!
