She was built by Martin Yachts of Vancouver, BC, who are renowned for their offshore construction with Downeasterns and finished with a custom interior once moved to Cape Cod. The design combines the seafaring capabilities of a pilot vessel and the economy of a fast trawler. She will accommodate 2 with V berth, galley and enclosed head below and a working man's wheelhouse above leading to a spacious cockpit. Repowered in 1994 with a 275 TI Perkins turbo diesel, she will cruise at a very economical 5 gallons per hour with just over 1969 hours on the engine.
