Time flies when you are selling boats, having fun and staying safe.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Amazingly, it is that time again. It can not come too soon.
We do not think it is ever too early to pause and give thanks for the many blessings we have in our lives, both business and personal. We hope this Thanksgiving and coming Holiday Season help us all refocus on life’s many good things and the bright future we have in front of us.
For many, this year has been more than just difficult. We join many in having lost friends to Covid and sadly, it is not behind us. My 97 year old Mom is happy and healthy but I have only seen her a limited number of times since March. I continue to be thankful that she is well! Still, it is hard.
We look forward to when our world will be back to normal.
Yes, our business has been good this year but very challenging in so many ways. I am often second guessing myself when meeting new prospects and finding myself in uncomfortable situations of closeness.
We continue to lock our office doors and require our team and clients to wear mask. Yes, like many, we often let our guard down and feel a false sense of security with friends and long term associates. As the owner I must recommit our efforts in protecting our team and our clients. Thankfully, we are all healthy but I want to assure we keep it that way.
Manatee Pocket Yacht Sales is entering into a stricter application of our safety precautions and appreciate your understanding and compliance.
While we want to continue our business success and sell your boat, neither is worth the risk of either getting ill or infecting others.
An ounce of protection continues to be wearing masks and social distancing.
Thank you for supporting us in this effort.
Praying for everyone’s safety and good health.
Yes, business continues to be amazing with 7 boats sold in October, bringing us to 99 for the year, a new MPYS record.
What is even more rewarding is 6 new listings and 12 boats currently sold or under contract in November!
As a board member of the Marine Industries Association of the Treasure Coast, I am involved with the rest of the team in planning and executing the Annual Stuart Boat Show, January 15 – 17. Making this a safe experience is foremost in our efforts.
Join us all in preparing for a blessed Thanksgiving and Holiday Season.
We are all in this together.
God Bless.
