Lee Bowden and Manatee Pocket Yacht Sales sold my boat with no effort for me. The advertising was great and Lee was available to meet prospective buyers. The boat sold within a few months and Lee took care of all the paperwork; I just had to sign and get paid. I would recommend Manatee Packet Yacht Sales to anyone who wants to sell their boat with an effortless process. Thanks to all the staff for a great job.
Chip Let me start with a big THANK YOU for all you've done.
From the beginning and still today, you have never failed to respond to any of our phone calls, texts or emails, whether there was anything in it for you or not. That's pretty rare these days! I believe you really care about your customers and hope that they truly enjoy their boating experience.
So congratulations with your new brokerage firm. Deborah and I are certain your customers will be well satisfied with you as their broker whether they're buying or selling. I'm also certain that just like us, they'll be customers for life.
With sincere gratitude and much appreciation we wish you the best.
Lee did an excellent job in arranging the purchase of our 2005 Boston Whaler. We appreciate his professional attention to detail for what was for him a small transaction and, as a result, everything worked out as anticipated.
Purchased a boat for my wife through MPYS and from start to finish Mike and Tom were of tremendous help, assisting with all aspects of the purchase. The team was readily available and any questions or concerns I had were immediately addressed via calls, texts, or emails. As a member of the younger demographic, atypical for boat purchases, Mike made sure I was fully appraised of what I was getting into, which I appreciated and attribute to MPYS’ willingness to help people versus make a sale. I highly recommend MPYS as an avenue for first time boat purchases!
When I found a boat I was interested in at a marina in Sarasota, the first thing I did was call Tom Whittington at Manatee Pocket Yacht Sales. He helped make buying a used boat stress free. He contacted the selling broker, arranged a visit to see the boat helped with a marine surveyor, negotiated the price and sent a driver to deliver the boat back to Stuart. You are in good hands when you deal with Tom Whittington.
I recently purchased a Sea Ray through Manatee Pocket Yacht Sales. Lee was a pleasure to deal with regarding all aspects of the purchase. I live out of state and trusted Lee to handle all details. I give transaction 5 stars (out of 5 stars). Highly recommend.
We met Tom through Rotery and knew he was the "Yacht Guy" for us! Beginning our new life in Florida, and finding the right boat was important to us. We trusted him to tell us the truth about the boat we thought we wanted to buy. We were nervous about buying a boat that's 10 years old, but he checked it all out for us and gave us his expert opinion. He helped make our dreams come true. Thank you again Tom, it was a pleasure. I listed our 33 foot trawler with Lee Bowden of Manatee Pocket Yacht Sales. I was very pleased with Lee’s service. He was always enthusiastic about the boat and worked hard to make sure that I got a fair price. One of the many things I liked about Lee was the fact that he often included me in the sales process. I knew the boat very well and Lee understood and appreciated that. I participated in many of the showings. I believed that helped us sell the boat as buyers often have questions that only the owner can answer. Ultimately, Lee was able to sell the boat for close to the asking pricing (after we made a few price adjustments during the listing period). The closing went well and I believe the buyer is very happy with his new boat. During the listing period, Manatee Pocket provided me with a monthly report of activity on my listing. I really appreciated that report and was able to use it, along with Lee's advice, to adjust the price as needed to generate the level of interest I wanted. It is worth noting, however, that the buyer did not come from an internet listing. Rather, the buyer walked into the Manatee Pocket office where he met Lee’s colleague, Tom Whittington, who owns the brokerage. After interviewing the prospective buyer, Tom determined that the gentleman would probably like my boat. Tom referred hime to Lee who showed him the boat and ultimately negotiated the sale. I really appreciated the fact that Tom took the time to learn about my boat even though it was Lee’s listing. They worked together well, giving me the sense that I had a team working on my behalf.
